Connect an AI assistant
Circle Routes has an MCP connector, the standard way AI apps connect to other software. Add one link to your AI app and sign in.
Your connector link
Each workspace has its own link. Copy it from Settings → Integrations → MCP. It looks like:
https://{your-workspace}/mcpAdd it to your AI app
In your AI app, add a custom connector (some apps call it an MCP server) and paste the link. If it asks how to sign in, choose OAuth.
| App | Where to add it |
|---|---|
| Claude | Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it once for everyone. |
| ChatGPT | Settings → Connectors. Turn on Developer mode, then create a connector. |
| Cursor | Add the link as a remote MCP server in mcp.json. |
| VS Code | Command palette → MCP: Add Server → HTTP, then paste the link. |
| Claude Code | claude mcp add --transport http circle-routes {your connector link} |
Some apps only offer custom connectors on paid plans, or only to their workspace admins.
Your AI app opens Circle Routes. Sign in with your own account and select Allow. Admins and customer service can connect; drivers and the warehouse desk cannot. No API key is needed.
What it can read
Every tool is read-only. Nothing can be created, changed or deleted through the connector.
| Tool | What it answers |
|---|---|
| get_day_overview | Orders and routes for a day, orders not on a route, routes without a driver. |
| list_routes | Routes for a day with driver, progress, distance and planned times. |
| get_route | One route with its stops in driving order and planned ETAs. |
| get_live_route_status | A route right now: next stop, how late it is, and the driver’s last location. |
| list_unrouted_orders | Open orders for a day that are not on a route yet. |
| find_orders | Search by order ID, AWB, customer name or phone. |
| get_order | One order with its route, driver, status and ETA. |
| list_failed_deliveries | Failed or returned orders with reasons, driver notes and attempts. |
| get_delivery_performance | Delivered, failed and on-time rates by day and by driver. |
| list_drivers | Drivers and the routes confirmed to each. |
| find_customer | A customer’s contact details and order history. |
Dates use your workspace timezone. Performance and failed-delivery questions cover up to 31 days at a time.
Access and security
Each connection belongs to one person and one workspace. An admin can see every connected app and disconnect it in Settings → Integrations → MCP, and it stops working right away. Changing your password, or deactivating your account, disconnects your apps too.
